Frankly, I am not very good at French anymore. I took it in school for three years, and though I was pretty good, the fact that I do not really use it nowadays means that I have forgotten a lot of it.
I would like to go back to speaking French again, and improve my vocabulary even further. So, I thought, reading French books should help. I did not read as much as French as I would have liked to at the time and I would like to start soon. I highly doubt that I will get into my list straight away, considering I have very important exams later this year. Perhaps I will get into it after I am done with my exams on my long holiday.
And with that, begins my list (in what I believe is a good order to start reading):
Le Petit Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Arrête avec tes mensonges, Philippe Besson
L’Étranger, Albert Camus
All of Les Aventures de Tintin, Hergé
Hiver à Sokcho, Elisa Shua Dusapin
L'Écume des jours, Boris Vian
Candide, Voltaire
Zazie dans le Métro, Raymond Queneau
Notre-Dame de Paris, Victor Hugo
À la recherche du temps perdu, Marcel Proust

This also happens to be my first post. I suppose I will post from time to time, on whatever really that catches my fancy.
