I am only counting books I have read for the first time this year. I obviously cannot recommend books I keep re-reading, because they would probably appear year after year as a favourite. I have read a wider range of books this year, I believe. Last year, I mainly read books which are a part of a book series (riordanverse), so there wasn't much of a diversity in thinking. If that makes sense. I prefer this year better in terms of my overall experience with reading.

I marked obscure titles or lesser known books with their authors for your easy reference. I didn't read much during my December holidays simply because I did not have the mental capacity to do so. I hope next year gets to be a better reading experience for me, and that I get to meet more great books overall.

(I read If We Were Villains last year, and yes, I had to sneakily recommend it too, haha.)
