Since I read so many books, I often try to describe the writing because a lot of the time, even though the plot is not that exciting, the language just compensates for it. However, when I try to describe it, I am at a loss for words. Here is just a simple list of words I try to use.

  1. supple

  2. exquisite

  3. lyrical

  4. expressive

  5. terse

  6. rhapsodical

  7. rhythmic

  8. impassioned

  9. prudent

  10. sparkling

  11. the words fizz

  12. contemporary

  13. poetic

  14. imaginative

  15. lucid

  16. mellifluous

  17. eutony

  18. artistic

  19. vivid

  20. precise

  21. colourful?

  22. elegant

  23. eloquent

  24. complex

  25. graceful

  26. solid

  27. picturesque

  28. pure

  29. sublime

  30. solemn

  31. witty

I do not have much to say for this one. Hope the list helps for the next time you try to describe someone else's writing.
